Currency Cloud processes $0.5bn since launching in the America

Currency Cloud, the international payment provider has processed $500m in payments after launching it’s first office outside of Europe in a year.

Currency Cloud also provides technology to major foreign exchange brands like transferwise, where it fills the gap when P2P payments are not possible. Currency Cloud also provide an online currency conversion platform for money transfer companies and currency brokers.

Currency Cloud was only launched in 2012 and has been highlighted in American Banker as one of the 20 fin tech companies to watch. in 2015 Currency Cloud processed around $15bn in payments for European customers.

Richard started the Good Broker Guide in 2015 and has been a broker for 20 years most recently at Investors Intelligence and previously a multi-asset derivatives broker at MF Global (Man Financial). Richard started his career working as a private client stockbroker at Walker Crips and Phillip Securities (now King and Shaxson) after interning on the NYMEX oil trading floor in New York and London IPE in 2001 & 2000.
