Extortionate commission
My star rate is Zero.
I exchanged a very large amount of Euros to GBP following sale of property in Ireland. I am not familiar with doing fx trades. I agreed an fx rate with Key Currency Limited ” KCL” only to find shortly afterwards that there was a huge disparity in the rate given and that I could have achieved from other brokers, currency exchanges and banks at the same time and date the deal was done. KCL refused to confirm commission taken which is hidden in FX rates. They also did not offer to reverse the fx deal even though I made it perfectly clear that I was unhappy with the fx deal. Additionally there was no Euro-GBP market fluctuation between the evening the fx deal was done and the following morning when I complained about the fx rate/commission taken. It would therefore have been easy to reverse the deal with no loss. The focus was totally commission based. Shocking experience and a lot of money lost. Read the negative reviews.

Not much. They keep sending me emails asking the same thing.
Cons:
Stop sending spam emails asking what my trading activity looks like in the coming months. And deliver on what they say they will offer. Will never use them again.

International money exchange and transfers were new to me, especially with the large sums involved – it was a bit scary. However, Mark put me very much at ease and helped me through the learning process with the patience of a Saint: even when I managed to screw up a trade.
Now I trade autonomously through the excellent LIP system. Mark is a top guy and good for a chat about cricket.

Mark was a pleasure to deal with and on hand every time I needed some help. I felt very looked after which I didnt think would be the case once I registered.

Transferring proceeds from a house sale in EUR to sterling at a time of significant market turmoil always had the potential for challenges, but Mark and the team at Linear wire exceptionally helpful and supportive, available on the phone at any time to execute or discuss strategy. This is not something I need to do every day, so having friendly, proactive experts on hand was fantastic. All went well in the end and what I thought might be a hassle was nothing of the sort. I highly recommend Linear.

I registered with three currency brokers prior to transferring a large sum of money to purchase a property in France. I contacted them all (within a few minutes of each other) to obtain their current exchange rate and Mark gave me by far the best rate. During the process of transferring funds to the Currency Cloud account that was set up to facilitate the transfer Mark keep me fully informed at all times. We exchanged many WhatsApp messages and Mark responded quickly to my many questions until all the funds had been safely transferred to my designated French bank account.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Mark to anyone (especially a novice like myself) who needs to transfer currency abroad.
