Send money to family, always arrives quickly. The site is very easy to use.
Reliable, safe and fast service with a good rate.
I have used this company for many years and have yet to find another money transfer company that offers the same service. I have always found them fast, reliable and offering a competitive rate, and above a certain level, no fee. Their phone assistance service is excellent, which in this day and age is refreshing.
Money Transfers
Used Xe since we bought our first house in France in 2015, used them again in 2019 when we bought our second house in France for retirement and have used then ever since to transfer funds , always great rates, and a simple sane day process, wouldn’t use any other company.
Quick and efficient service
I have used XE to transfer funds yo family members across the Globe.
I have never had any issues. I am kept informed of the status of the transfer and when it has arrived in the receiving account.
The exchange rate I received was the best I could get at the time.
I would recommend XE to anyone looking to transfer money to friends and family abroad.
Terrible
They give poorer than mid- market rates, so I was expecting good service for this premium.
After 8 days with my money, the transfer was cancelled and am still waiting for my money to be returned.
The recipient said that they have never had problems with Wise, so the problem would not seem to be at that end.
I provided all the information XE required, so the problem is not my end.
The problem, therefore, must be with the intermediary.
In addition to my money I am also still waiting for a response to my complaint.

Is Xe a good international money transfer app?
I’ve always liked Xe.com, the website has always been an excellent resource for currency information. But ever since they were bought by Euronet under their HiFX brand in 2017 you can now use them for international currency transfers. In our review, we rate Xe as a safe, quick and cheap way to transfer money abroad.
Xe is a good option if you are looking for cheap no frills small to medium-sized currency transfers from a trusted and well-established brand. However, if you have a large amount of currency to transfer and need personal service, you are better off with a currency broker.
Xe is now part of the Euronet Worldwide family, who were recognised as leaders in the currency exchange space. It aims to offer the most simple, reliable, and friendly money transfer service.
XE offers:

Yes, we rate Xe.com as a safe way to send money abroad as they have been established since 1995, owned by a larger parent company (worth $4bn as of November 2023) and are authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority under the Payment Services Regulations 2017, registration 462444, for the provision of payment services
Xe.com is ultimately owned by Euronet Worldwide Inc which is a public company listed on the NASDAQ with the ticker code EEFT. Xe.com is managed by HiFX, which acquired XE.com in 2017. Prior to this HiFX only offered money transfer services for business, but the acquisition enabled them to offer individual currency transfers.
It’s fine to transfer small and medium amounts fo money abroad with Xe.com, but if you are sending larger amounts it may be more sensible to use a currency broker as they can help with admin, give phone support and advise on how to save money when doing the conversion.
