Compare Currencies Direct To Other Currency Brokers

As a currency broker they are regulated by the FCA in the UK and FinCen in the US.  They advertise zero fees on transfers by do not publish the spread from the mid market rate that you will pay. When you open an account make sure you agree a rate with a sales person and get it in writing first. You should ask for "what percentage from the mid-market will my price be".  Anything more than 1% for conversions under £10,000 or under 0.5% for conversions is not a competitive price.
You can compare other money transfer providers here, or take a look at the Currency Direct reviews on trust pilot.
Major good points are that Currencies Direct is a well-established player in the market and transfer nearly £5bn annually.  They have local offices and an online platform for converting and sending money.
However, they (as with most currency brokers) don't have a functioning APP and they only accept funds via bank transfer.
