Meet The Judges

Richard Berry

Richard founded the Good Money Guide (previously Good Broker Guide) in 2015 and has been a broker for 20 years most recently at Investors Intelligence and previously a multi-asset derivatives broker at MF Global (Man Financial). Richard started his career working as a private client stockbroker at Walker Crips and Phillip Securities (now King and Shaxson) after interning on the NYMEX oil trading floor in New York and London IPE in 2001 & 2000.

Jackson Wong

Jackson has over 20 years experience as a financial analyst. Previously a director of Stockcube Research as head of Investors Intelligence providing market timing advice and research to some of the world's largest institutions and hedge funds. Expertise: Global macroeconomic investment strategy, statistical backtesting, asset allocation, and cross-asset research. Jackson has a PhD in Finance from Durham University.

Darren Sinden

Darren is a veteran of the financial markets with almost 36 years of experience under his belt. He has worked in trading, sales, analytical, and research roles, he has been a regular guest & commentator on financial television channels and publications. During his career, Darren has been fortunate to act for and advise major hedge funds and investment banks as well as HNWI. Darren analyses the markets using a blend of technical and fundamental analysis.

Sally Jones Good Money Guide

Sally Jones

Sally is a co-Founder and Head of Sales & Marketing at The Broker Club and Chief Marketing Officer at Women in Broking. Using her wealth of experience, at organisations such as Thomson Reuters as a Global Business Director, she has continued to grow and expand The Broker Club to become an exclusive community providing it’s members with relevant up to date information, a platform forum for discussion and network within the financial services industry.

Liz Edwards Good Money Guide

Liz Edwards

Liz Edwards is a freelance personal finance editor and writer specialising in banking, credit and financial education. She led the editorial team at the financial comparison site Finder for 6 years, during which the team earned multiple awards including 3 content awards in 2024. Before that, she was a senior editor at the consumer champion Which?, where she worked for 20 years, writing and commissioning reviews, guides, comparisons and investigations to help consumers make better decisions.

Michael Hewson - Good Money Guide

Michael Hewson

Michael Hewson has over 30 years of experience in the financial markets and brings a wealth of expertise and a passion for stock market analysis to the Good Money Guide podcast. As the former Chief Market Analyst at CMC Markets, Michael led a talented team of in-house analysts, providing daily insights, research, and market commentary to both retail and institutional investors and traders, as well as being regulatory featured on the mainstream financial media worldwide like the BBC and Bloomberg.

Edward Sheldon

Based in London, Edward is an investment writer whose clients include a broad range of financial services firms located all over the world. Prior to launching his own investment writing business, Edward spent 15 years working in private wealth management and institutional asset management, both in the UK and in Australia.

John Blowers Good Money Guide

John Blowers

John is managing director Stockomendation which operates Investegate.co.uk. He is also Chairman of London-listed investment company River UK Micro Cap (RMMC) and has recently been appointed to the Board of Columbia Threadneedle UK Capital & Income Investment Trust Plc (CTUK). John was involved with the UK’s first digital fund platform at Interactive Investor and went on to design, build and run several digital investment offerings for AMP, UBS and latterly for FE fundinfo.

Andrew Michael

Andrew is a multiple award-winning financial journalist and former editor-in-chief at Financial Times magazines specialising in investing and the stock market. He spent four years at Forbes Advisor as the UK's investment editor and has written extensively for The Times, Citywire, and Shares magazine. He was formerly the editor, then publisher, of Headlinemoney.co.uk and has also been the UK's only financial journalist to simultaneously hold a horse racing press badge.

Sam Low Good Money Guide

Sam Low

Sam founded LiquidityFinder, a B2B network for prime brokers in 2017 to bring transparency to the OTC liquidity provision and trading technology industry. He has 20 years of experience in FX e-commerce and is a specialist in FX Liquidity and Technology solutions for banks, institutional and retail brokers, and asset managers.

Lisa Campbell

Lisa runs Investor Conferences (UK) Ltd owns and organises the London Investor Show, the London Trader Show, and the Sustainable & Social Investing Conference (Sustain.Social). Annual, one-day events and exhibitions which aim to educate and support private investors and traders by creating a live forum where they can attend independent workshops, meet exhibitors, attend free seminars, live panel debates and interviews.
