Where can I trade the US indices?

Question: I am looking for brokers that have the US Index

Answer:

If you are looking to trade US equity indices, the Good Money Guide has a whole section dedicated to brokers who offer trading stock indices, or “index trading”. You can compare brokers and get some tips on how to trade the markets.

Most of whom offer contracts on the Dow 30, Nasdaq 100, S&P 500 and Russell 2000 indices. View the specific index pages for info on trading the specific indices.

This means that you can trade indices that track US blue chips, leading technology shares as well as US smaller and mid-size companies.

These brokers also offer access to CFDs on leading ETFs (Exchange Traded Funds) allowing you to trade in specific stock sectors and investment strategies as well.

If you are in the UK you can trade US indices via a spread betting broker like IG where profits are tax free.

Of you are looking for direct market access you will need a futures broker like Saxo Capital Markets, where you can trade on exchange US Index futures.

To take it one step further, some brokers like XTB, allow you to create your own basket of stocks and therefore create your own index of shares.

Whatever broker you choose make sure you understand the risks of leverage trading. It’s not for everyone.
