1. Some of their advisors clearly do not understand their products and oversell – this resulted in them paying a small amount of compensation.

2. As an illiterate their website is full of information but difficult to comprehend

3. Spreading your funds over several risk profiles and types of management highlights the differences in performance – over the last year the highest risk Smart Alpha funds have done well

4. In comparison with other managers – like Aviva and Pru their charges are much lower – you also avoid IFAs charges – which over the long term can have a huge effect on the value of your portfolio. Don’t look at their annual charges – consider what they will cost over 20 years or whatever and compound the growth – you will be shocked. Consider very carefully if the IFA adds any value after the initial advice but they still get their percentage year after year.

It seems that Nutmeg simply want to delay a pension transfer out for as long as they can.

A constant stream of non-committal messages, that seem to take forever in the first place,

I asked for a complaint to be raised and they also can’t be bothered to do that either.

How they can get away with this constant lack of service is beyond me, but when a complaint is finally initiated I intend on letting them explain their lacklustre service to FOS, as based on the postings of other people, they clearly don’t learn.

Abysmal.

The platform was built on online access. The platform is easy to understand and simple to add funds too. Checks are made regularly to ensure risk is suitable to your requirements and information is sent out regularly. Extra funds can be added easily and checked daily if you wish. makes me feel I am in charge even though the hard work is done by professionals
