Yes, XTB is regulated by the FCA (Financial Conduct Authority) in the UK, so it is safe to trade indices as a CFD with them.
One of the good things about index trading with XTB, is that you can see market depth on the sidebar when trading indices. I’ve included that as a screenshot in the index trading platform tab below. This may not be such an issue if you are a smaller trader, but if you are dealing in size then people able to see what volume you will get filled in is very handy.
