TradingResearchPoint.co.uk was an investing research service with a mission to expand your trading universe by providing a range of varied fundamental and technical trading ideas and commentary.
TRP hand-picked some of the best multi-asset independent professional and amateur trading ideas and financial commentary from blogs and sites in the UK and centralise them for your convenience. What started out as Chartoftheday.co.uk publishing a single trading idea each day and have grown to providing user generated analysis on equities, fixed income, commodities, FX and indices.
The site was founded by Richard Berry. Prior to starting TradingResearchPoint Richard spent seven years as a derivatives broker in a multi-asset brokerage team at MF Global looking after $100m of retail, professional and ECP client funds. He also sat on MF Global’s UK marketing committee and website steering committee. Prior to MF Global Richard worked as a stockbroker for Walker Crips and Phillip Securities (now King and Shaxson) after starting his career on the NYMEX trading floor in New York and London IPE in late 2000.
TRP did not produce research or trading recommendations ourselves, but provided a platform for independent investors, analysts, journalists and bloggers to express their views.
