We have been with Lumon (previously Foreign Currencies) since 2018.

The service via the Lumon App we switched to a few months ago has improved significantly in the past two months, whereby our transfer of funds from our U.K. account to our French bank account was completed within an hour.

We’re impressed and long may it continue.

It’s also important to say… if there are ever any issues our account manager swiftly and effectively rectifies matters.

I’ve been with this company for many years and always been extremely satisfied. My current Account Manager, Chloe Dean, is first class, and I’m lucky to have her deal with my account. My currency conversion goes through seamlessly, from my initial email to say funds in sterling have been transferred to Lumon’s UK bank, to immediate call back (from England to France) and paperwork is sent within minutes. I did a transfer yesterday at approx. 09.15am and funds were in my French bank by 12.09 (French time). Who can ask for more!!!! I have no hesitation in recommending Lumon.

Lumon are very efficient and helpful in their dealings, my Account Manger Chloe could not have been more helpful. I was transferring funds to the UK from a Property Sale in France and Lumon allowed me to bypass our French Bank account and have the funds converted to Pounds and remitted back to our UK Bank at a competitive rate inside 24 hours. I have used Lumon for over 6 years even before their name change.

To date i have used them to transfer money to pay for a house as well as 6 years of school fees, they have never let me down in any trade that i have asked for, big or small and i still use them every month for my wage transfers, especially as my own bank wanted to charge a transfer fee for every transaction where as Lumon do not charge any transfer fees.

Transferring huge amounts of money is a pretty daunting issue but having access to an account manager who can see you and has regularly contacted me to see how im doing i can honestly say i would not use any other money manager to transfer funds.

I emailed from Australia as I do not have international calling and was called back as soon as the Lumon office opened. Verification of who I am was very quick – an email with instructions on how to take a photo of my passport or driver’s licence and a photo of me took less than 5 minutes and I was then given a trade which I accepted. I was then given 4 days to transfer the money as my UK bank had a daily limit. However, due to an internet banking input error, one lot did not go through. An email to Lumon and a call back gave me more time to send the missing amount and then the transfer was made at the agreed rate.
