Someone in Robinhood stole £20,000 from me.
On September 25th ‘25 I set up a Robinhood account as advised by Zoey of Capital Trust Wealth Management.
It’s important to say here that I did exactly and only what I was told to do by Robinhood. I set up an inter bank transfer with my bank and made two transfers, one of £2000 and another of £20,000. The £2000 went through without a hitch, I was trading with it. The £20,000 never arrived. I phoned Robinhood and was told that it would work if I put the money into JPMorgan-Chase account number 066628636. He was right, but that money has gone into his account, not mine. This is a case of straight theft.
Don’t mess with Robinhood.

Robinhood Expert Review
Robinhood Expert Ratings
Provider: Robinhood
Verdict: Robinhood is a zero-commission trading app launched in 2013 that lets UK investors buy and sell around 6,000 US shares 24 hours a day with as little as $1 through fractional shares.
Summary:
Overall, we rate Robinhood as a good investing app, although it is let down by not providing access to UK shares.
– Pricing: Excellent – Zero commission and GBPUSD fx rates of 0.1%
– Market Access: Pretty good coverage of US stocks, but you can’t trade UK shares, and there is no pension. A stocks and shares ISA and options trading for UK investors has recently been introduced.
– Platform & Apps: Very slick app, and the desktop portal is good enough. The Ledgend platform is excellent for active investing,
– Customer Service: You can chat on the app or online, and there is a helpful FAQ section.
– Research & Analysis: Limited to some technical indicators and news.
