Interactive Brokers has been voted Best Trading App 2026 at the Good Money Guide Awards, with customers praising its global market access, low-cost trading and professional-grade functionality.
The Good Money Guide Awards are based on verified customer reviews, which can be viewed on the Interactive Brokers review page. IBKR secured the award after receiving consistently strong feedback for its powerful trading technology, extensive market coverage and excellent value for money.
A key reason cited in votes for the win was the app’s ability to give investors access to markets around the world from a single account. Customers highlighted the platform’s multi-currency functionality, global trading capabilities and broad range of investment products, making it a favourite among active traders and international investors. One reviewer described Interactive Brokers as offering as “Worldwide trading, a sophisticated 24-hour real-time trading system, powerful reporting tools and a broad range of investment products.”
Value for money was another major theme. Users repeatedly praised Interactive Brokers for its competitive commissions, favourable FX rates and low overall trading costs. As a customer vote stated in his review, “Excellent value for money and sophisticated functionality.” and another described the platform as: “Very broad, stable and cost efficient.”
Execution quality also featured heavily in customer feedback. Traders highlighted fast order execution, direct market access and reliable performance across multiple asset classes. Several reviewers noted that Interactive Brokers provides a level of functionality usually associated with professional trading firms.
One long-term user said, “Interactive Brokers is like driving a Ferrari, while the competition are still using bicycles.”
IBKR customers also praised the depth of information available through the app. Market data, research tools, educational resources and risk-management features were frequently cited as helping investors make more informed decisions.
Some users did note that the platform can be more advanced than beginner-focused apps, many appreciated the balance between professional-grade tools and an increasingly user-friendly mobile experience.
But, with global market access, institutional-quality execution and some of the most competitive pricing in the industry, Interactive Brokers continues to be the benchmark for serious investors and active traders.
Gerry Perez, Interactive Brokers UK MD said when presented with the award:
It’s always a pleasure to be here and being able to be a part of winning this award, it really means a lot.
For everyone behind the scenes, it also means a lot because we have a lot of engineers, product developers that never get to see the validation of their work. This gives them that validation and on their behalf, we’re very proud of it.
On behalf of Interactive Brokers and to all your readers, thank you. We’re very proud of it and we’ll look forward to next year.
