Good Growth, Terrible Customer Service

I have been with True Potential for around 3 years and the fund has grown significantly in that time, achieving nearly Β£20,000 growth. The issues started when I wanted to add money to my account. True Potential have an app where you can do an Impulse Save. At first I put Β£500 in and was eager to continue doing this on a week by week basis as I get paid weekly.

Then the Anti Money Laundering Team (AML) put a stop on my account and thus prevented me adding anymore money. I was very angry. I was asked to provide a source of where the money was coming from and I did this, but the stop on my account was still active and I could not add money to my account. I contacted them and was asked for more details. I provided these and was told I could add money to my account. I tried and still could not do so.

I contacted them again and they assured me that the stop on my account had been removed. I thus tried again and could not add money through their Impulse Save system. It was then that they gave me their account number and I used this to add to my account. This was successful but the damage had already been done for me.

I tried using their Impulse Save system again with Β£450 and I got a message on my app saying it was successful. My Impulse Save amount of Β£0.00 had been recorded. I contacted them again and they said they would sort it. That was around a month ago and I still have not received a message saying it is sorted. That was the final straw for me

I have spoken to my Financial Advisor once in 3 years. I am afraid that this is not enough for me. Furthermore, with all the problems above I have decided to move to another provider. You are just a number here and they are only interested in your money. Nothing else. Three stars is generous.
