renewing my policy when its a total loss right off your chat bot wont let me stop you renewing it
Dear wilson and Josh,I need your help you are renewing my policy even though the car is a right off and my clam has been settled by yourselves settlement of £1,712.27 the car was a total loss , I have tried like you said to do it through the app but the bot is not helping me to stop you renewing my policy this is coursing me a lot of anxiety stress and making me feel depressed, please can you stop them from renewing my policy I have a disabled daughter who is picking up on how you are making me feel ,if you can get this resolved for me please and get it stopped, I won’t put it all over social media and google reviews, and talk to my local MP and trading standards on how your taking advantage of me and my disabled daughter .Kind

Marshmallow Care insurance is a big Scam!
Marshmallow Care insurance is a big Scam! There’s no telephone call service, you can only find them on live chat which will be only 3 days wait of each of your message to them, and with the purpose of flopping you off. What you get would be less than minimal service. They ask for documents you’re unlikely to have—like a contract or council tax bill(it’s a share house) and require you to supply in 5 working days—but only ask for that after the 14-day ‘free cancellation’ period has passed. When you can’t provide them, they cancel your policy and charge you £130 on top of what you already paid. It’s a deliberate scam to trap you into buying coverage and then squeeze more money out of you. Avoid these scammers at all costs.

Pay a bit more and go elsewhere. When it comes to actual support the cheaper insurance like Marshmallow will give you a headache. I bought the ‘premium’ one so to speak.
Now I have give the 3rd party details on 10th of Dec 25. The recovery team called me couple of days later asking for clarity on the 3rd party and a few other details, and said that they would drop them an email and go from there. Come 22nd Jan 26 there was a call from the recovery team on 25th asking for the number of the 3rd party which I already set via chat as well on the 10th ‘25. So which means from then to now nothing has been done this is what I mean by avoid this company. To make matters worse I called the 3rd party insurance myself on 22nd Jan 26 to find out for myself they confirmed nothing was raised or reported. Honestly marshmallow poor service very bad!!!! Appalling! AVOID! The 3rd party insurance was really good btw, starts with the letter A go there not marshmallow. So they expected me to pay excess, lose my NCD, cat my car, etc etc and not even attempt to recover from 3rd party which they said they would do in 2025. My car still isn’t fixed. They assigned me to Accidnent repair network Hampton: there again bunch of jokers working there. The insurance asked them to recover my car but they cal me saying they wouldn’t because they didn’t want to pay for it. Get that! It’s not up to you buddy, your job is to fix my car and do as the head office tell u. But yeah u want to increase your profit I guess. Stingy. Asked for clarification on works they say to me you’ll have to get your car in and it will be inspected and then estimated and then planned. I sent pictures over month ago so it could be rough estimated but still no corporation when I lost it and complained then they said to me that it was already ready we are waiting for the vehicle to come in.. they also said that the estimate was ready long back via the pictures I had sent over so they ordered the parts in advance so why not share the estimate with me then? Just to remind u I am the policy holder you’ll should have been more transparent and not try to be cheeky. This was the start but the experience so terrible I cancelled that garage and went else where now they are saying I need to pay £250 on top of excess if I go outside their network, I mean really? It’s for admin and stuff on a car they have already estimated yeah. They forced me to find my own garage and now they want to charge me which I will not pay. Why should I!. I understand their whole game now, and why they do what they do and it’s frustrating. Pay a bit more and go to a reputed company. Companies like Marshmallow are cheaper and cheaper means ‘……..’ if u know u know. GO ELSEWHERE! Stay tuned for more….. .
Awful Customer Service
Insurance easily setup but be aware of any changes or upgrades as you can wait hours, even days, before someone come back with a reply. And when finally you get a response and paid for the upgrade, there is no communication that the policy has been changed. So I am now chasing the insurance for the last 24 hours to see if I am legal to drive in Europe in 2 days time and still waiting for more than 5 hours now. Awful response time and I will never use this insurance again. Now trying to cancel the auto renewal option which you cannot do yourself via the app. It is a joke. This level of stress and waste of my time has put me off completely with this type of insurance with no call centre and any human being to talk to. I would not recommend
