Degiro is now accepting UK clients again and offers a very low-cost way to invest and trade the markets. I would say they are aimed at slightly more experienced investors who trade on a regular basis and want to keep costs down. It’s worth noting, though, that DEGIRO is not regulated by the FCA; they are an overseas firm supervised in Germany by BaFin and in the Netherlands by AFM and DNB, so you do not get FSCS protection.

Edward Murtagh @ 12/17/2019 06:42
I had some difficulty opening an account because of poor communication from degiro customer service but since then it’s been plain sailing. Lowest fees in the business and very user friendly platform. Wish I’d found it sooner
A S @ 04/29/2019 02:58
Awful customer service – not fit for purpose on the two occasions I have needed to contact them. In twenty years of investing they are comfortably the worst I have had to deal with, low fees or not.
Review @ 10/16/2018 05:40
After FOUR MONTHÔÇÖs miserable tracing between DEGIRO and the bank, DEGIRO finally admitted that one of my missing payment was sent to the old account of them. I was never informed that the DEGIRO account was changed. On the THIRD phone call today with the customer support, I was told if IÔÇÖm ÔÇ£luckyÔÇØ I may get my payment back. It has the most ridiculous customer support IÔÇÖve ever experienced in any financial services company. If anything goes wrong youÔÇÖll never get your money back even after going through the terrible poor customer support through numerous phone calls (They never reply customer support&complaints emails).
