Awesome bank, innovative, interactive and easy to use
I switched from a bricks and mortar bank to Starling digital and have never looked back. Although cheques are a thing of the past I was able to deposit a cheque in the app and had access to the money in a few days.
When I had an issue with a transaction, starling resolved it quickly , efficiently and will minimal fuss, they were awesome. Customer service is first and foremost for Starling. About four years ago I set up a currency transfer service (it was called Berry FX if you must know). Because more years ago than that I used to be a prime broker for client-facing foreign exchange services.
