Cheated out of $500 of interest on my $10,000 deposit.
I deposited $10,000 in August of last year at the local office in Sioux Falls. I discussed current money market rates and decided that was a better option that a CD at that time. When I downloaded my 1099 this year, I noticed that the total interest was $3.36. I called then and asked why I had received no interest on my $10,000 for over a year. I was told that the local people said that I did not request a money market deposit and there was nothing they could do. That was an outright lie to cover their asses. I don’t know who ended with my roughly $500 in interest, but I can tell you who got cheated out of it. DO NOT do business with these people. They are dishonest and not willing to admit an obvious mistake or even TRY to resolve the issue.
