Making the corporate bond market accessible to all
Thus far I have a IFISA into which I have transferred previous years’ ISA balances and this provides me, as a high-rate taxpayer, with an excellent way of getting a higher and relatively low risk return on my capital; you know exactly what you are going to get if you hold your bond to maturity as long as the company doesn’t default. I chose to make my own selection of bonds though the platform will do that for you should you wish according to your risk tollerance. Fees seem reasonable and reduce as a percentage of funds invested as you increase the size of your portfolio.
Would be even better if interest was paid on any cash balance.
Easy to use platform for investing in corporate bonds
WiseAlpha is a very easy platform to invest in fractional corporate bonds so you can spread your investment over more companies. Being able to invest via ISAs and SIPPs is a great addition to the WiseAlpha platform.
Great Investments Made Easy
I really like being able to invest in the Bond market with WiseAlpha because it is so easy to manage my investments.
Fractionalised high-yield bonds in ISA & SIPP
Access to wide range of fractionalised high-yield corporate bonds. Now available in ISA and SIPPs. Excellent way to diversify and derisk your portfolio.
Great platform UX and customer service
Bond yields
Great opportunities given access to all range of investments for everyone with clear financial plans
Innovative provider opening up the bond market to retail investors
WiseAlpha is the first provider (as far as I am aware) offering retail investors access to corporate bonds, which traditionally have been restricted to institutional investors only. With their recent introduction of the IFISA, this has become a great tool in the slightly more sophisticated retail investor’s toolbox. It is great for diversifying and gives you more control compared to a broad ETF. Their platform is quite simple and intuitive to use which is good for first time bond investors, but I think a bit more functionality would be welcomed. Customer service is responsive and helpful. Overall, quite pleased with the offering.
One suggestion would be to create a research hub where each bond issuer would be analysed in more details (e.g. historical financials, ratios, KPIs, breakdown of debt outstanding) – things you would easily find on Google/Yahoo Finance (but a lot of bond issuers are not public companies). For rated bonds, it would be great to have easy access to rating agencies reports.
IFISA available
Now that the IFISA is available I’m making full use of WiseAlpha. Over the past three years I’ve kept my investment low to avoid taxation. It’s allowed me to become familiar with the fractional bond market and get a feel for the terms and returns available. An interesting addition to my investments.
Be you own Fixed Income Manager
An easy to use and intuitive platform that enable you to access the institutional bond market through fractional bonds and materially increase the yield not normally available to retail investors. Happily investing and banking coupons since 2018
Great way ro grow capital
Been using Wisealpha since 2018. A great way to build wealth and hassle free. I like the ability to invest my money where I choose.
Now available as an ISA
The only way I know to be able to invest in fractional bonds that would otherwise be unaffordable.
And now available as an ISA which makes it more tax efficient and was very easy to transfer over my existing holding into the ISA through bed and ISA overnight with no costs or loss of income.
A+ for Fractional bond ISA
This is a really product the only fractional bond ISA I have seen, very easy to use and a really low entry point at only Β£100, also has a robo investor that does the investing and reinvesting for you.
WiseAlpha
It has been thanks to WiseAlpha that the closed door on access to investing in the corporate bond market has been opened. It’s a game changer for self investors and removes another choke on individuals giving more choices and opportunities for a broader range of investments. WiseAlpha have show an abundance of innovation and a progressive outlook to achieve this, no doubt a great deal of tanacity as well.
The Best Investment Platform
I believe WiseAlpha is one of the best investment platforms, manly for long term investment. As long as you compound your interest and leave it for long time, you will have the best result in the end.
Great alternative investment
Easy to use and can invest in bonds with small amounts
Amazing platform for democratising bonds & super easy to use
I have a general account with WiseAlpha. I find the market platform to be very easy to understand and simple to use. All relevant information is clearly displayed, along with important news items to make both investing & understanding the investment easy to do. Once invested, the dashboard shows a real-time view of your portfolio and provides a clear view of gains, accruals and future payments. If customer service is needed, staff have always been quick to respond and very helpful.
Affordable and simplified investments
I have a bonds account. I get great information that is digestible for a lay person who has never bought bonds before. The dashboard is really simple. The information about each company is really informative and if i have any questions i pretty much get same day response. This platform has given me good confidence to buy into a sector (bonds) that previously would have felt beyond me in confidence and probably perceived understanding. There is no jargon to wade through. And there is an information overview or deep dive company info. Which suits all level of bond buyers. So whilst, i am a total novice. I do feel thereβs everything on the dashboard to grow my knowledge to make informed and confident investments.
Democratising bonds
Democratising and simplifying another asset class
We need more like this
Clear interface, abundant selection, understandable and simple pricing. I don’t expect anything more from an investment platform. Wishing the team continued success!
Great diversifier
Great way to access corporate bonds. To diversify my portfolio and earn attractive interest rates.
Simple, intuitive, value
The corporate bond market remains extremely difficult for everyday investors to access, I certainly did not believe I could invest in this asset class until WiseAlpha. It’s reliable, clear and simple to use in terms of corporate bonds with a good range of companies that you can diversify you portfolio with. Exactly what investors of all stages should want if you are looking to allocate a small section of your portfolio to high yielding bonds.

Rezaah Ahmad, CEO of WiseAlpha explains how and why his platform allows private clients to invest in previously unattainable high-yielding corporate bonds
Life is pretty unfair really. All the (seemingly) best stuff is reserved for people with the most money. And finance is no different. If you’re taking out a massive mortgage for an eight-bed, detached mansion on a private estate you can borrow at interest rates that are lower than for an ex-local studio flat. When
