Spreadex, one of the oldest spread betting brokers in the business has won spread betting operator of the year at the EGR Awards 2017.
Spreadex fit nicely into EGR’s (who mainly cover gambling companies) coverage because they are the only financial spread betting broker to offer sports spread betting.
Which is basically the same as financial spread betting, but instead of trading the FTSE you can trade the FOOTIE.
Spreadex also do quite nicely, because they are smaller than the two main brokers CMC and IG, so have to win business by being a bit better at the smaller things. Closer relationships with bigger customers etc.
