IG has upgraded its investment cashback promotion for new clients, doubling the reward from £100 to up to £200. The new structure gives investors 10 percent cashback on the commissions and charges they pay when trading through an IG Invest account.
The maximum cashback available is now £200, but the eligibility window and all other terms remain the same. This makes the current offer one of the more competitive incentives available for new investors looking to reduce their initial trading costs.
How to claim up to £200 in cashback from IG
To qualify, new clients must open an IG Invest account through the dedicated offer page. Once the account is active, investors simply trade as normal. IG tracks the commission and charges paid over the eligibility period and automatically applies the 10 percent cashback rate.
If your trading activity generates at least £2,000 in charges, you will receive the full £200. Cashback is calculated and paid directly by IG once the promotional period ends. There is no separate claim form and no manual steps required.
What is the catch?
The main condition is that the cashback applies only to new IG investment clients who sign up through the promotional link. The cashback is tied to actual trading activity, so you must place trades that generate commission or fees.
Investors who trade infrequently or who mainly buy commission-free assets may receive a lower amount. The offer does not apply to spread betting or CFD accounts.
