Nobody has lost anything yet at this stage, because they are going in for the big kill.

I’m gonna withdraw half of my £8k this week, then of it is a scam I will still have broken even.

Oh BTW Tim Wood is real but I’m not sure about the Professor bit.

Precisely why I said Fake Professor because the scammers are impersonating the real Tim Wood, using his picture and pretending it’s the real Tim. Not!! You can contact the real Tim from his company and verify.

    I will thank you.

I’m going to carry on doing it but will make regular withdrawals and not let the funds build up too big.

Will let you know how it goes.

FTSE 100 Club W88 is still messaging. They are now enticing members for High Net Worth ‘applications’. A development worth noting as HNWI do not have the same rights as retail investors. Nobody in this group as far as I am aware from the comments, have requested a drawdown of their funds. Most have added to their accounts with the hope of compounding investment and profits.

    Hi Davern,

I have previously completed 2 successful withdrawals and I am waiting for a 3rd one to clear.
Will admit though I am nowhere near the HNWI level which she told me is £50,000.

I have £8000 in there and am waiting on £2500 to be cleared by Station One.
My plan is to let it build up to £8k and then keep withdrawing the £2500.

    Regards

Scams like these are getting more media attention. Anyone interested, have a look at this article from the Independent News Paper:

I am part of the group. These guys are playing a very long game which others in the group are unable to identify. They are playing very long game to gain trust.

I agree that their initial suggestions are really good. Then the brought the game of DMA trading. They created a so big thing saying confidential and all just to lure. The app they suggested was ‘StationOne’. I was tracking this app continuously when they were doing the DMA thing. The app was there in playstore only for 2 weeks and after that it was taken down. Any app which enters playstore is safe for a few weeks but in the meantime all the checks happens and bad apps are taken down. This particular app developer team is based in Nigeria. One logical question everyone should ask is ‘If it’s from the famous XTB, why would they not upload using their official email id and address and instead go to Nigeria?’ The website given by Emily is xtbuk.com, this is a fake website made to impersonate official xtb website. Sometimes the website loads with all the menu options working while other times they don’t load (a big big red flag). When you click on create account, it leads to a WhatsApp message (another big flag).

They create the account and once after creation, you need to send the money to some third party persons in between. Asked Emily why and her response was that it how it works, they are intermediaries (another big flag). No registered good firm would take the money this way.

The trading starts with proper profits. People get worried and withdraw the money which the team deposits to your account. Don’t take this as not a scam. This is just a way to gain trust. They will allow you to withdraw money as many times as you want. But they keep the trading active and the scammer’s team members keep sharing screenshots of the profit. This is to train your brain that the platform is legitimate and they keep working hard for profits. The reason they are running for so many months is for the same reason – gaining trust. The result of playing this game? Simple – increased money intake. I know a person who started with 5k despite me warning her. She withdrew in between to check the reliability which was smooth. Then she increased the money to 5x of the original money and she keeps increasing it regularly.

Now few people may ask, the story is fine till here, they gained trust and have money, why don’t they end the chase here and scam? And since they are not doing it, many might argue that this is not a scam. Here comes the main play. They gained trust of everyone but the money pool is not yet big. They are waiting to increase the money pool. That’s where they are bringing the concept of IPO and HNWI. IPOs can be applied from personal accounts as well, but they suggest from their recommended apps, especially when can’t hinder the process, why!!! To fake that the users have got allocation so that users will deposit money. But they know they can’t run it regularly.

So the new concept is HNWI. They are promising so many benefits to lure people. People of the group have already gained a lot of trust because the company is giving huge profits (at least in their trading account). The requirements of HNWI are very high. People are literally arranging money for the same as they gained enough trust. Now when the money pool becomes very big, that’s when these scammers are going to end everything and go away. If they feel that the money pool is not big enough, they might continue for 2-3 months more with new schemes.

People just remember one thing, if earning profits is so each, why can’t everyone do it. In the first place, why does the so called Professor need to disclose such things? He could have made huge profits and enjoyed his life. Why go through so much of pain maintaining a group, giving news and updates and all for nothing? Remember if it doesn’t cost you anything while getting money, you are the product!!

Please save yourselves before you loose a lot of money.

Surely if you get scammed you go back to monzo and they will recover your money

Maybe yes, maybe no. There is a question there if you know what you are doing and you still executed it with the idea that it might be a scam, then sorry for your loss. You have deen the redflag but chose to deny, then it is on you. They can recover it if your card/account is used fraudulently like it is used to purchase something in the far ends of the earth but you were never there. So, probably no. Or else, everyone who lost an investment or who gambles will just recover their money back which i doubt 110%.
