How much does Hargreaves Lansdown charge for Junior SIPP?

It’s free to buy funds for your children’s future with Hargreaves Lansdown’s junior SIPP, which can help them take control of more money for their retirement when they reach 18, but HL charges a 0.45% account fee for a Junior SIPP.

There are three ways to open an HL JSIPP:

  1. Add a one-off lump sum of Β£100 or more.
  2. Set up a direct debit from as little as Β£25 a month.
  3. Transfer a child’s pension from another provider.

Shares charges are capped at Β£200 per year. Funds are charged at 0.45% for the first Β£250,000. There is no charge for buying funds, but shares are charged at Β£11.95 per deal or Β£5.95 if you do over 20 deals per month.

To put that into perspective if you invest the entire junior SIPP limit of Β£2,880 the account charge would be Β£12.96 for that year.
