Too class podcast from an all-round expert
Highly recommended daily podcast. Paul’s knowledge of small and mid caps is fantastic and second to none. Delivered in an informative and fun and engaging way.
Great knowledge of small caps
Paulβs new venture a great source of research for small caps. Good to have regular podcasts for easy listening. Keep up the great work Paul.
Top class!
Leading UK commentator on small-cap stocks, renowned for his numerical expertise and engaging, humorous delivery. I’ve become a far better investor through reading and listening to Paul’s analysis!
First class investment entertainment
Paul Scott is an excellent observer of UK investment life and provides an entertaining soundtrack to the sometimes dry world of stocks hence his huge private investor following. Paul offers insights and rapier like commentary across primarily small and mid caps with a notable lack of ego and stock promotion which is a pretty rare combination. I’ve been reading / listening to Paul for longer than I care to remember and I’ve always valued his ideas and his sense of humour. Highly recommend.
Great Quality Analysis
Really good insights, digestible even to me as a relative newbie (having found Paul through his free podcasts) – I particulalrly like the pointing out of particular aspects of a company we might want to look at deeper before taking any decisions – pensions deficit here, management remuneration v shareholder payout ratio there. The contribution of the subscriber chat to the overall value should also not be underestimated – what a fantastic community. Great work Paul, I’m glad to be on board.
Fantastic insights without the ramping!
Paul’s breakdown of the latest small cap news is an invaluable resource for all investors, particularly those with time pressures. Despite being a full time investor myself, I find Paul’s insight an invaluable resource that challenge my personal conclusions and fill in gaps I may have overlooked. For those with full time jobs or less time to input into personal research, Paul’s overviews would probably be nothing short of priceless. The colour coding system helps quickly filter companies, directing your effort towards those more likely to be worth the effort and raising caution for those more likely to crash and burn. Many other sites/commentators shamefully ramp their own holdings or do commissioned write ups on companies they know to be sub-standard investments. To his credit, I’ve found Paul to be about as objective as they come. Definitely worth the subscription price.
very good with the numbers!
Paul comes up with some brilliant ideas to follow up on. He’s also very analytical and thorough with the numbers, something I can’t do! So I’m grateful that I can follow him and he does that side of the analysis for me. Oh, and not to forget, the humour with which he does it! The odd burp, hic up or fart, not to mention trying to camouflage opening a tin of beer whilst recording the latest ‘top quality’ Podcast, just goes to show he’s human and very funny with it!
On a serious note, I don’t know anyone who works harder at what he does and cares so much about getting it right.
Paul, don’t ever change!
