ETX Capital which was acquired by Swiss-based Guru capital in 2020 has been on the acquisition trail of late but it hasn’t just been buying Fintech financial services businesses it also been adding to its headcount as well and in particular in content-related areas.
There have been two high-profile recruits so far in 2021in the shape of Alex Neale and Andrew Saks, both of whom are extremely well known on the margin trading scene.
Alex Neale is a respected technical analyst who cut his teeth at GNI, one of the firms that originated CFDs as an asset class for private clients back in 1998, coincidently the same year that I joined IG to help expand their equity trading operations and much like myself Alex gravitated towards market commentary and analysis.
Alex stayed with GNI and laterly MF Global for almost 14 years before moving onto Cantor Fitzgerald.
Andrew Saks is best known for being the founder and editor at large of Finance Feeds an online FX and CFD trade publication. Andrew is one of the best-connected people in the industry, he has a fervent and unmistakable writing style and a unique approach to the markets.
Andrew recently sold Finance Feeds to a group of US media investors and has joined ETX as the head of research and analysis, Alex Neal’s new job title is that of technical analyst.
ETX Capital’s CEO Phillip Adler was one of the founders of GNIs CFD operations and would have worked closely with Alex Neal in the past and no doubt he has crossed paths with Andrew Saks on many occasions too.
Experience and a few grey hairs are often in short supply at margin trading businesses and these two veterans of the markets will bring both facets with them.
ETX is continuing to recruit and currently has 13 vacancies advertised on its corporate Linkedin page.
