Description: Uphold has relaunched staking for US customers on Uphold from March 3, 2025, when users can stake 19 different cryptocurrencies and earn up to 14.4% in rewards, with weekly payouts.

Is Uphold good for Staking?

Uphold’s staking service lets you earn up to 14.4% APY on digital assets like ATOM, DOT, and SOL , which offers automatic weekly payouts in the staked crypto. Users can unstake anytime, though some assets may have unbonding periods. As a regulated and transparent platform, Uphold provides a secure and user-friendly experience, allowing seamless staking, reward tracking, and asset management in one place.

How staking on Uphold works: 

– Ensure you have the latest version of the app and go to Menu > Earn.

– Select a stakable crypto and tap “Start Staking”.

– Convert an existing asset from your portfolio (cannot stake directly from fiat).

– Tap “Preview Staking”, review, and Confirm.

– Go to Portfolio, tap “Unstake”, select a destination, and confirm.
