Webull has expanded its Australian trading platform with the launch of Advanced US Options (Level 3), giving local investors access to sophisticated multi-leg strategies typically reserved for experienced derivatives traders.

The upgrade allows eligible clients to build complex options positions designed to manage risk and take advantage of opportunities in volatile US markets.

Rob Talevski, CEO of Webull Securities Australia, said the firm is focused on delivering a top-tier experience for investors. He said:

“We are committed to bringing a best in class investment platform to our clients. So today we have launched one of the most comprehensive US Options offerings in Australia.”

Below is what investors need to know about trading options in Australia through Webull.

Using Webull’s template for options trading

Webull’s new Advanced US Options service comes with an Option Builder tool, designed to guide traders through constructing multi-leg strategies. This template-style approach helps investors visualise combinations such as spreads, straddles, and covered calls, while also showing potential outcomes and risks before placing a trade.

Webull options fees

Webull has introduced US options trading at US$0.50 per contract, which it says is among the most competitive rates available in Australia. Lower fees may help reduce the cost barrier for investors who want to trade options more actively.

Can you trade options on TradingView with Webull?

At present, CFD broker Webull offers its own built-in options trading platform with advanced charts and dedicated tools. While Webull integrates market data and community features, TradingView execution connectivity may depend on broker-specific partnerships and is not currently a core part of Webull’s Australian options offering. Investors should check directly with Webull for the latest integration updates.

How to paper trade options on Webull

One of the key benefits of options trading in Australia is that you can limit your risk to the premium you buy; however, as with all derivative products, they are very high-risk, and you can lose all your money quickly. So, it’s sensible to start with a demo trading account.

Webull also provides paper trading tools, allowing users to practise options strategies without risking real money. This is particularly useful for beginners learning how multi-leg positions work, or for experienced traders testing ideas in different market conditions before deploying capital.
