Australian forex broker Vantage Markets has partnered with Ferrari’s Formula 1 (F1) motor racing team.
The deal has seen the CFD and forex (FX) trading platform become an Official Partner of the Scuderia Ferrari HP F1 team from 13 January.
As Official Partner, Vantage branding will be featured across Ferrari’s Formula 1 platforms. Spokespeople for both firms stated they hoped to engage their global audiences with the partnership.
Vantage Markets was founded in 2009 and is headquartered in Sydney, Australia. According to its UK website, its FX operation now has more than 900,000 active customers.
Its deal with Ferrari follows similar recent tie-ups between rival trading platforms Pepperstone and AvaTrade with other F1 teams, with the brokers looking to expand their global footprint through appealing to racing fans.
Pepperstone struck a deal, announced last month, with the Aston Martin F1 Team to become the latter’s official global forex and trading partner.
Under the new partnership, Pepperstone branding will debut on the AMR25 Formula 1 racing car when it is launched ahead of the 2025 F1 season.
In December, AvaTrade became a team partner of Oracle Red Bull Racing in a multi-year agreement.
The deal saw AvaTrade branding appear on the team’s RB20 car at the season-closing Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. It will include team kit, driver suits and the RB21 car from the start of this year’s racing season.
That tie-up also includes support for Oracle Red Bull Racing’s young driver academy programmes, and saw AvaTrade become presenting partner of Red Bull’s ‘Talking Bull’ podcast.
The links between motor racing and investing aren’t that surprising when you consider these can both be high-octane activities that appeal to risk-takers.
Just one possible example: the founding director of Hargreaves Lansdown’s Pensions Direct service Adam Norris is the father of F1 driver Lando Norris.
As racing fans reading this will surely be aware, Norris was runner-up in the Formula One World Drivers’ Championship in 2024 with McLaren.
