Our verdict
CMC Invest was launched in Singapore to help reduce the costs of investing in local Singaporean and international markets. CMC Invest aims to disrupt the (crowded) market by offering a platform with transparent pricing, good market access and backed by CMC Markets' 30 year heritage.
Summary
The platform has been built from scratch to serve the local market and offers access to shares and ETFs in 15 countries. Pricing is low and for beginner investors on their "gold" account package, there are no custody, account or deposit/withdrawal fees. Commission is only 0.04$ for dealing US stocks (5 free trades) or 0.05% (2 free trades) for local Singaporean stocks. This drops to 0.02% for more sophisticated investors on the "diamond" tier.
