Quilter Invest SIPP Expert Review & Rating: Updated 28/08/2026
Provider: Quilter Invest SIPP
Verdict: Quilter Invest's SIPP is a competitively priced pension aimed at investors who prefer a simple, managed approach. Its 0.15% platform fee is low, with no dealing fees, while educational tools and targeted support are useful for beginners. However, investment choice is limited, with no individual shares or ETFs currently available.
How much does the Quilter Invest's SIPP cost?
Quilter Invest’s SIPP has a competitive fee structure, with no monthly subscription fee and a 0.15% annual platform charge. There are no dealing or FX fees, although investors pay underlying fund charges of around 0.34%–0.38%.
From September until the end of November, Quilter Invest plans to waive its platform fee entirely, making the SIPP particularly competitively priced during the promotional period.
New users who sign up to Quilter Invest before 11.59pm on November 30th 2026 can get £0 subscription fee and 0% annual platform fee by using the promotion code INVEST26. (See website for T&Cs).
What can you invest in? Investment choice is currently quite limited compared with more established SIPP platforms. Customers can choose from five Quilter Cirilium passive portfolios: Conservative, Balanced, Moderate, Dynamic and Adventurous, which are branded as MyGoal funds on the Quilter Invest platform.
These provide professionally managed, diversified portfolios for different risk levels. However, investors cannot currently buy individual shares, ETFs or choose from a wider range of third-party funds.
What is customer service like? Quilter Invest provides UK-based customer support through live chat, chatbot and email. They say email enquiries are typically answered within one hour, which is considerably quicker than the response times offered by many larger investment platforms.
The combination of digital support and UK-based customer service should work particularly well for investors who are comfortable managing their pension online, although there is currently no telephone support listed.
Do they offer any added value and research? One of Quilter Invest’s more interesting features is its free FCA-backed targeted support journey. Customers answer questions about their circumstances and are then given investment suggestions based on what may work for groups of people in similar situations.
This is not personalised financial advice, and customers are under no obligation to follow the suggestions. Quilter also provides an extensive Learning Hub alongside beginner and intermediate investing courses, making the platform particularly accessible to less experienced investors.
