CMC Markets is the trader’s favourite spread betting platform when it comes to customer service – that’s according to a new report into the investment industry.
The annual Investment Trends Report for the leveraged trading industry has been surveying customer perceptions of the leading platforms for the past ten years. It assesses each of the contenders across 23 categories including the quality of customer service, reliability of the platform, features and education materials. CMC came out top in a number of categories including overall customer service.
Spread betting brokers have experienced a challenging 12 months with changes to regulations and platforms have had to evolve quickly to stay ahead of the competition. CMC Markets has been working harder than most with a series of updates hitting its desktop and mobile trading platforms over the past year including updated watch list views, topical watchlists, mobile chart upgrades and the desktop multi interval chart tool. Each of these aims to drive client satisfaction and engagement.
There’s more coming with the latest roll outs going live over the coming months including an enhanced design to optimise the trading experience which allows customers to build the choose the layout of charts, feeds and prices. It’s all about customisation allowing each client to trade whichever way he or she chooses and to view information in a way which is easier to digest.
According to David Fineberg, Deputy Chief Executive Officer, this award was an endorsement of all the work his platform has done to make itself more flexible and accessible.

The updates will be rolled out in phases with the first coming in the next few weeks. These will include fixed layouts for a less cluttered experience, window tabs, a light theme as an alternative to its traditional dark theme as well as updated mobile navigation to make it easier for clients to view features, choose tools and navigate across the platform.
