If you’re a trader and investor and want to meet the brokers, markets and companies you’ll be focusing on there is no better place to get a one on one that at one of the UK investor shows.
Here’s a quick guide to the major investor exhibitions and when they take place.
Headlined by Jim Mellon, the Master Investor Show, gets around 5,000 private investors, has up to 100 exhibitors and 50 guest speakers covering strategy on trading, new asset classes and individual company updates.
Mello 2018 is set over 2 days and has presentation from around 50 growth companies to around 500 investors.
UK Investor Show
The UK Investor Show sees over 3,000 private investors visit each year with around 125 exhibitors. Held in the Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre the show features headline speakers such as Nigel Wray, Mark Slater, Vim Murria, Luke Johnson and , Nick Leslau.
London Investor Show
The London Investor Show is one of the oldest investor conferences in the UK, founded in 2010 and has branched out to cover Forex and Crypto (as separate shows). Around 12,000 investors have attended since the show’s inception.
The iFX Expo is an annual jolly up for the FX industry to meet in Cyprus. Mainly an industry event with few private traders in attendance. But from an industry point of view sees over 1,000 exhibitors and 30,000 delegates.
Finance Magnates London Summit
The Finance Magnates London Summit gets around 2,000 forex industry delegates. As well as the usual brokers and service providers, there are quite a few early stage financial technology providers exhibiting worth a look.
Richard founded the Good Money Guide (previously Good Broker Guide) in 2015 and has been a broker for 20 years most recently at Investors Intelligence and previously a multi-asset derivatives broker at MF Global (Man Financial). Richard started his career working as a private client stockbroker at Walker Crips and Phillip Securities (now King and Shaxson) after interning on the NYMEX oil trading floor in New York and London IPE in 2001 & 2000.
